This webinar is building on the 2022 session about recognising how dominant white systems in our society control the way our world works. And how if you are white, you benefit without even trying. If you're a leader, a manager, a policy developer, a contract manager or a client-facing social worker, please attend.
As social workers, being able to examine our own privilege is key to supporting our work. Otherwise, we will be privileging ourselves. In this webinar, Madeleine Taylor will review the 2022 session: (being clueless, waking up, understanding, taking action). And add in our great need to not stay silent in these challenging times. A discussion forum will form part of this webinar. Take aways from this session will be raised awareness, understanding how your behaviour matters, connections to other organisations and a commitment to making our society a place for all to thrive. If you’re a member and can access webinar recordings, please log in and review the 2022 webinar here.
