We are looking for the following skills and experience:

Living the Dream Counselling strives to provide services which promote individual growth and well-being, and we are looking for Counsellors, psychologists and therapists to join our nationwide team. You will be working as a self-employed contractor on the ACC Sensitive Claims contract with Kiritaki who has experienced sexual trauma.

To meet the application criteria, you will need to have the following:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Kiritaki who have experienced complex sexual trauma
• Comprehensive assessment skills for diagnosis and functional assessments
• Current APC
• Clear police vetting and child safety checks
• Comprehensive clinical report writing skills
• Comprehensive clinical and ethical practice
• In-depth understanding of treatment modalities to treat trauma and other mental health issues, including CBT, Mindfulness, and assessment,
• Sound risk identification and management skills
• Outstanding self-management skills
• First Aid workplace Certificate
• Ability to work in collaboration with organisations, community services, other treatment providers and ACC
• Ability to navigate invoicing systems, and sound computer skills and literacy
• Able to work in NZ legally.
